The most delicious and easiest ever Chocolate Cake made in the airfryer with just three simple ingredients!

3 ingredient chocolate cake served on a round white plate and garnished with a dollop of Greek yogurt and fresh berries.

I’m all for recipes that are quick and easy to make and this Airfryer Chocolate Cake has to be up there as one of the most simplest but also most delicious recipes ever!

Now that’s a big claim!

Close up on the chocolate cake.

It’s also a brilliant recipe to make with the kids as it’s so easy, perfect for children who lose concentration when a recipe is too long or overly complicated.

All the ingredients being combined in a large mixing bowl.

The first step is to add flour, chocolate spread and eggs to a bowl and mix together.

You can use a chocolate spread like Nutella or any own brand supermarket one.

Nut free chocolate spread also works perfectly too.

Grease a cake tin really well on the bottom and sides.

Then add the chocolate cake mixture to it.

Chocolate cake mixture being added to a greased cake tin and then placed in the airfryer.

Airfryer at 180c for 13 minutes.

This results in a really fudgey and gooey cake, almost the texture of a brownie. If you prefer the cake to be firmer then cook for a further 2-3 minutes.

Cake bring sliced into sections.

Now here’s the important part… cut the cake IN the tin once it has cooled a little.

The first time i made it I tried to remove the cake and the whole thing fell apart!

Cut the cake into 8 triangles and then it’s easy to remove them with a spatula.

I add some greek yogurt and berries to serve. Absolutely delicious!

Which Air Fryer Is The Best?

There’s so many different air fryers out there on the market at the moment. Some of the big brand names are expensive but I have been using this Uten 6.5 Litre Air Fryer since last year and I love it.

It’s really big, perfect for family sized meals and fits a whole chicken too!

Description

The most delicious and easiest ever Chocolate Cake made in the airfryer with just three simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 100g plain flour
  • 300g chocolate spread
  • 2 medium eggs

To grease: butter or oil

Instructions

  1. Add the flour, chocolate spread and eggs to a large bowl and mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
  2. Grease the bottom and sides of a cake tin really well with butter or oil.
  3. Cook in the airfryer at 180c for 13 minutes.
  4. This cake is very fudgey so if you prefer a firmer cake then cook for 2-3 minutes longer.
  5. Run a knife all around the edges of the cake to separate it from the tin.
  6. Allow to cool then cut the cake in the tin into 8 traingles.
  7. Serve with greek yogurt and berries.

Notes

This cake is best eaten on the day that it is made. It will still taste good for up to 2 days but it will just be a little drier.

It can be reheated in the microwave or airfryer again.

Mine looks a bit like it remained uncooked and cannot tell the difference between fudgey and uncooked…. I even tried cooking it in the air fryer 3 mins longer but centre remained extremely gooey

It’s supposed to have that gooey centre, almost like a brownie consistency. If you prefer it firmer then I would suggest to leave it cool completely once you’ve taken it out of the airfryer and before you cut it. it will naturally firm up a bit more as it cools
