Such a quick and easy lunch idea for kids at home. A pizza toastie made in the airfryer!

Airfyer Pizza Toastie cut in half and served on a plate with fresh sliced cucumber, carrot sticks and strawberries.

I’m always looking for new quick and easy Lunch Ideas for Kids. Simple recipes I can whip up that are a bit more exciting than a ham or cheese sandwich.

I saw a similar recipe on Instagram and wanted to try my own version and wow… so glad I did because it was delicious!

Airfyer Pizza Toastie cut in half and served on a plate with fresh sliced cucumber, carrot sticks and strawberries.

Start by spreading passata on a slice of cheese and then top with grated cheddar cheese and oregano.

Two slices of white bread on a pink chopping board, one slice is topped with passata, grated cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of oregano.

Place the other slice of bread on top and repeat with the passata, grated cheese and oregano.

Cut a mini pepperami into small slices and add these on top.

Mini pepperami slices are added to the slice of bread.

Pop into the airfryer and cook at 180c for 6-7 minutes.

If you find that your airfryer tends to send grated cheese flying everywhere then just push it gently into the passata so that sticks a little better.

Topped bread added to the airfryer.

Once cooked, slice in half or into quarter and serve up.

I add some fresh fruit and veg to the side. My kids absolutely loved this and I hope yours do too!
