I know I usually share kid-friendly recipes but this one is most definitely just for us grown ups!

I’m determined to get as much use as possible out of the Ninja Creami Deluxe I bought last month. I don’t have a lot of kitchen space so when I buy a new gadget I want to make sure it’s worth both the money and the extra clutter!

But so far I am absolutely loving it and having been trying lots of different Ninja Creami Recipes.

Ninja Creami Frappe

I love a frappe from a coffee shop but they are way too expensive to be drinking several times a week. Instead I’ve started making my own at home and here’s how I do it.

The exact measurements of the ingredients I used are in the recipe card to the bottom of this post.

  1. I add two cups of black coffee to the Ninja Creami tub, along with caramel syrup.
  1. Then fill to the FREEZER FILL line with milk and pop into the freezer for 24 hours.
  1. The following day fill to the POUR IN line with more milk.
  1. Pop it into the Ninja Creami machine and blend on FULL and FRAPPE setting

And you get the most delicious blended frozen coffee frappe ready to enjoy.

This will make two large portions but if you don’t want to drink both at once you can just have half now and pop the remainder back in the freezer.

This is optional but you can also add some caramel sauce to the inside of the glass and on top. It’s still delicious without it but I add it sometimes for a little treat!

Ninja Creami Tubs

My Ninja Creami came with three tubs but I quickly found that this wasn’t enough as I always like to have a few different bases for drinks and ice creams in the freezer ready to go.

I bought these extra tubs which have come in so handy. I also like the fact that they have different coloured lids so it’s easier to identify what is what in the freezer!

Do you notice a difference with different types of milk e.g. whole vs semi skimmed, or even alpro coconut?
