After a year of badgering from my daughter I finally gave in a bought a Ninja Creami Deluxe. I was hesitant for so long as to be honest I have a kitchen full of gadgets and didn’t want to add to the clutter!

But I’m really glad I did. We’ve used it lots in just the week that we’ve had it. A lot of the recipes I’m seeing online are from other countries with ingredients that you might not get here, so I thought I would share some UK recipes here for anyone that’s interested.

How To Make Oreo Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami

First recipe is this Oreo Ice Cream. My daughter’s favourite so it had to be the very first recipe we tried! It took a bit of testing with the ingredients but I think we’ve nailed it!

The recipe makes two bases. The base is a simple vanilla flavoured base so you can use the second tub for another flavour. Some step by step instructions are below and the full instructions are in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  1. Add sweetened condensed milk, double cream and milk to two freezer tubs.
  1. Freeze for 24 hours.
  1. Blend on Ice Cream mode.
  1. Add the oreos and blend on Mix-In mode.

If they oreos have not mixed through all the ice cream evenly then you can blend for a final time on the Re-Spin mode.

Add a couple of more oreos to the top to finish.

Ninja Creami Tubs

My Ninja Creami came with three tubs but I bought these extra tubs so that I can keep several bases in the freezer ready to use.

Storage

Leftover ice cream can be returned to the freezer in the tub.

Leave the ice cream to defrost for about 10 minutes before eating it. You can also put it back into the machine, blending on a RE-SPIN mode if you prefer it softer.
