Frozen yogurt made in the Ninja Creami with peanut butter and banana

I’ve been loving trying out lots of recipes in the Ninja Creami. The indulgent ice creams have been delicious but the real surprise is how nice the Frozen Yogurt works out. It’s so thick and creamy, honestly doesn’t feel like the healthier option!

Frozen Yogurt In the Ninja Creami
This recipes uses just four simple ingredients. Often with homemade fro yo it can come out quite icy but in the Ninja Creami it is so much better. You don’t get any of those ice particles and it honestly just tastes like ice cream.
Here’s some step-by-step instructions how I made it and the full ingredients and measurements are in the recipe card towards the bottom of this post.

- Grab your ingredients – greek yogurt, milk, peanut butter and a banana.

- Break the banana up into chunks and add to a Creami tub with the other ingredients.

- Blitz with a hand blender until smooth then freeze for 24 hours.

- Add to the Ninja Creami machine and blend on FULL and FROZEN YOGURT.
The frozen yogurt might look a little powdery on top after blending. It will be fine underneath so just give it a mix with a spoon.

Variations
MIX INS – I didn’t use any mix-in’s with this recipe but you could add some chocolate chips or peanut butter chips after blending and put it back in the machine on MIX-IN mode.
CRUNCHY OR SMOOTH – I used crunchy peanut butter as that’s what I had but smooth will be fine too. It all gets blended up so I don’t think it really matters.
DAIRY FREE – You can use dairy free yogurt and milk to make this fro yo dairy free.

Ninja Creami Tubs
My Ninja Creami came with three tubs but I bought these extra tubs so that I can keep several bases in the freezer ready to use.

Storing Leftovers
Leftover fro yo can be returned to the freezer in the tub.
Leave to defrost for about 10 minutes before eating it. You can also put it back into the machine, blending on a RE-SPIN mode if you prefer it softer.

Ingredients
- 500g greek yogurt
- 100ml milk
- 80g peanut butter
- 1 banana
Instructions
- Break the banana into chunks and add to a Creami tub along with the other ingredients.
- Blend with a hand blender until completely smooth.
- Add a lid and pop in the freezer for 24 hours.
- The following day, add to the Creami machine and blend on FULL and FROZEN YOGURT.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Leftovers can be popped back into the freezer. Leave for about 10 minutes to defrost or you can put it back into the machine on RE-SPIN mode.
