Delicious soft breakfast cookies flavoured with Nutella and made with just five simple ingredients

Nutella Breakfast Cookies served on a divided children's plate with a dollop of yogurt and fresh chopped fruit.

If you are looking for some new Breakfast Ideas for Kids then check out these tasty Nutella Breakfast Cookies. They’re so easy to make, using just five simple ingredients.

They make a fun alternative to cereal or toast for breakfast, something a little bit different and packed with fibre too.

The first step is to add bananas, nutella, oats and mixed seeds to a large bowl and mix everything together.

If your bananas are very ripe you can add them straight to the bowl. If they are a little firm then mash them first then mix in with the other ingredients.

Nutella obviously contains nuts so if you want to make these nut free then use a nut-free chocolate spread.

Divide the mixture into 8 mounds on a lined baking sheet.

I find it easier to use an ice cream scoop to scoop out the mixture.

Nutella Breakfast Cookies mix in a bowl and being portioned out onto a baking tray using a ice cream scoop.

Use a spoon to flatten and shape into cookie shapes.

Add some chocolate chips to the top and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Nutella Breakfast Cookies fresh out of the oven.

Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes before serving as they will be very hot.

I like to serve them with greek yogurt and some fresh berries for a really filling breakfast.
