A simple 5 minute lunch idea for kids – A pizza wrap made in the toaster!

Close up photo of the pizza toaster wrap.

This is possibly the easiest lunch idea you can make for the kids. So easy in fact that they can make it themselves!

There’s so many variations of ingredients you can use but my kids’ favourite is the pizza one.

Pizza toaster wrap being assembled, being topped with passata and grated cheese.

Take a large tortilla wrap and spread a little passata in two places at the top centre and bottom centre of the wrap.

Add a tiny sprinkling of oregano, along with grated cheddar cheese.

Chopped peperami being added to the wrap.

I then chop a mini pepperami into small rounds. But you can use slices of pepperoni instead.

Add these on top of the grated cheese.

Chopped peperami being added to the wrap.

Fold the sides of the wrap into the middle so that the edges of the wrap cross eachother.

Wrap being folded so it will fit in your toaster.

The fold it upwards.

The trick with these wraps is not to overfill the ingredients or you risk it breaking in the toaster.

Pop in the toaster for 2-3 minutes until the outside of the wrap gets a little crispy and the cheese inside has melted.

Wrap in the toaster.

Serve immediately with some chopped fruit and veggies for the easiest and quickest lunch for kids!

I used a wholemeal wrap instead of a white one to make it a little more healthy, very nice quick lunch and made a change from my usual sandwich.
