Toasted Chicken & Cheese Wraps

Tasty toasted wraps filled with chicken and cheese. A quick and easy 5 minute lunch for kids, served on a child's divided plate alongside fresh fruit and veggies.

Want to make something warm for the kids for lunch but don’t have a lot of time? Try these really easy Toasted Chicken & Cheese Wraps.

Ready in just 5 minutes, they’re quick and simple to put together, have just 5 basic ingredients and make a nice change from sandwiches.

The first step is to mix up some chopped cooked chicken with grated cheese and mayonnaise.

Ingredients all in a colorful bowl ready for mixing.

Divide the mixture between two small wraps.

Then roll them up tightly.

Melt a little butter in a frying pan and add the wraps in.

Place them so that the seam of the wrap is facing down. This will help to seal the wraps shut.

Fry for a minute or less on each side until golden brown.

Then they’re ready to serve up.

I usually serve them with a selection of fruits and veggies plus a sweet treat like these mini biscuits.

Description

Tasty toasted wraps filled with chicken and cheese. A quick and easy 5 minute lunch for kids.


Ingredients

  • 50g cooked chicken
  • 50g grated cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 small wraps
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions

  1. Chop the chicken into small pieces and add to a bowl along with the grated cheese and mayo. Mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture between the two small wraps and fold up tightly.
  3. Melt the butter in a frying pan on a low heat in the hob and place the wraps in, seam side down.
  4. Fry for a minute or less on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

These wraps are best eaten immediately after cooking.
